Summary

Daisy Albright。 Incredibly beautiful。 Painfully shy。

Nobody in our class pays attention to the groundskeeper’s daughter and I think she likes it that way。 Moving through the halls like a ghost, wandering across campus unnoticed。 Am I the only one who actually sees her? Little Miss Daisy sitting in the front of the classroom, always the model student。 Little Miss Daisy reading her romance books with the cute covers and hot content inside…

I’m considered the reckless Lancaster so when I get in trouble on the first day of school, my punishment is having to work in the headmaster’s office every day, stuck with Daisy。 Staring at her pretty face, hearing her sweet voice, making her laugh。

The more I get to know her, the more obsessed I become。 And I think she feels the same way。

The problem? She’s not part of my crowd。 Daisy is the scholarship kid and no one approves of us together。 Not my friends, not my parents and not her father。 But I don’t care what anyone thinks。 I’m going after what I want。

I’m going to make Little Miss Daisy mine。

This book is so redundant and inconsistent with details。 In a previous chapter Arch called Daisy his girlfriend then in some chapters after he’s now asking her to be his gf。 At one point daisy said she loves/is in love with Arch and some chapters later she’s like she thinks she’s falling in love with him。 Like girl which one is it??? The writer loves repeating some details like we get it, you don’t need to say it all the time girl

Arch and Daisy were adorable together! Arch didn’t impress me very much at first with his pompous attitude and dismissive behavior, but once he realizes how special Daisy is and how much she means to him, then he quickly becomes a swoony-worthy protagonist who is completely devoted to his girl。 This book ranks right up there with “A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime” for me, and I loved every minute of reading it。

This book was seriously delightful and a full representation of what it feels to be young, full of hormones, feeling as an adult but still dependent on your parents。 The conundrum of wanting to lead your life your way and having to answer to the power your parents have over you is present and center in this book。 Also, the delight of reading Arch and Daisy, priceless!Arch and Daisy are seniors at Lancaster High。 As a Lancaster, Arch does as he likes, he’s wild, scattered, irrepressible。 Daisy is This book was seriously delightful and a full representation of what it feels to be young, full of hormones, feeling as an adult but still dependent on your parents。 The conundrum of wanting to lead your life your way and having to answer to the power your parents have over you is present and center in this book。 Also, the delight of reading Arch and Daisy, priceless!Arch and Daisy are seniors at Lancaster High。 As a Lancaster, Arch does as he likes, he’s wild, scattered, irrepressible。 Daisy is the contrary, very uptight and serious, shy and lonely because she’s a scholarship student among wealthy students, so she wanders around as if she’s invisible。 However, she’s not invisible to Arch。 First, she’s stepping on his toes, as second on GPA, and working hard to surpass him。 Also, although she wears the school uniform very primly and fixes her hair in a french braid, he notices that she’s beautiful。 And what’s more, she doesn’t like him and doesn’t hide it。 The enemies to lovers trope in this story is absolutely wonderful! What I loved about this story is how they helped the other grow and improve。 Arch goes from an irresponsible guy who breezes through school, to a guy who takes this girl seriously and works hard to win her over。 Daisy is initially very suspicious of Arch and his intentions, but then she dives deep and realizes this is a guy who has a façade, while underneath he has strong feelings and a beautiful personality。 I felt that maybe he needed to have a direction and purpose and Daisy gave him just that。 And he gave Daisy a sense of being seen and important。 Together they were beautiful and the book was just that too, a beautiful representation of what it feels to be on the edge of young adulthood, of finally having direction and truly knowing what you want。 This love story was so satisfying to read, uplifting and heartwarming。 。。。more

Another great story in this series!! I've loved reading all of the Lancaster's characters and Arch is definitely one of my favorites, in the beginning, he acted just like his cousins in the previous books but I loved how sweet he became with Daisy and how he didn't care about her status and their differences。 Despite their rough start, Arch couldn't help but be attracted to Daisy and her shyness so he was usually finding ways of being close to her and I loved how eventually they started spending Another great story in this series!! **I received an ARC/review copy of this book and this is my voluntary review。**This book definitely has a sweeter vibe than the other Lancaster Prep titles。 The classic opposites attract when the popular boy on campus notices the quiet girl who has always been there。 I really thought their love story was sweet, with a dash of spice, and these two easily captured my heart。 Arch isn't as cruel as his male cousins were in previous books。 He's more of a lover than a bully; he just has a bit of a chi **I received an ARC/review copy of this book and this is my voluntary review。**This book definitely has a sweeter vibe than the other Lancaster Prep titles。 The classic opposites attract when the popular boy on campus notices the quiet girl who has always been there。 I really thought their love story was sweet, with a dash of spice, and these two easily captured my heart。 Arch isn't as cruel as his male cousins were in previous books。 He's more of a lover than a bully; he just has a bit of a chip on his shoulder。 But Daisy helps lift that chip away with her patience and with her ability to get him to open up。 I truly adored how these two brought out the best in each other。 They complimented each other so nicely。 The only thing keeping this book from a 5 (because I honestly did have a hard time putting this down!) was the pacing of the drama。 This isn't as melodramatic as the other books。 The plot lines made sense and added to the story and character development。 It's just that I felt we spent too much time on some aspects vs others。 I get that this is a slow burn romance (and I enjoyed that), but it just felt a little lopsided with everything going off in the last little bit of the book。 。。。more

oh my gosh my heart。 just when i thought nothing could give me that same feeling as crew and wren & carolina and west, i was honestly surprised。 arch and daisy are the cutest human beings ever。 everything about this book was beautiful。 they are so “call it what you want it coded” it’s UNREAL。 arch would do anything to make daisy feel loved and seen。 plus he’s the ultimate definition of being the best book bf。 like this man really let her grab as many books as you could grab 😭😭。 i just know they oh my gosh my heart。 just when i thought nothing could give me that same feeling as crew and wren & carolina and west, i was honestly surprised。 arch and daisy are the cutest human beings ever。 everything about this book was beautiful。 they are so “call it what you want it coded” it’s UNREAL。 arch would do anything to make daisy feel loved and seen。 plus he’s the ultimate definition of being the best book bf。 like this man really let her grab as many books as you could grab 😭😭。 i just know they continue to annotate books together 。。。more

This was SO bad。 I have so many things to say but wow。 Let’s start with the basics。 This book is extremely cliche and trope-y AKA CRINGE。 The plot is extremely similar to A Million Kisses except it’s 1000x worse。 Nothing makes sense in this book。 Daisy and Arch hate each other at the beginning for literally NO reason。 They’ve never interacted before but they absolutely hate each other。 What?? Arch was a pretty unlikeable character but Daisy was INSUFFERABLE。 I have never seen an fmc cry as many This was SO bad。 I have so many things to say but wow。 Let’s start with the basics。 This book is extremely cliche and trope-y AKA CRINGE。 The plot is extremely similar to A Million Kisses except it’s 1000x worse。 Nothing makes sense in this book。 Daisy and Arch hate each other at the beginning for literally NO reason。 They’ve never interacted before but they absolutely hate each other。 What?? Arch was a pretty unlikeable character but Daisy was INSUFFERABLE。 I have never seen an fmc cry as many times as Daisy did。 She was absolutely pathetic, zero backbone, and zero personality。 She was also unbelievably boring and weird。 She had ZERO friends and ZERO interests。 The only thing she ever did was cut her roses。 Without Arch, she was literally nothing。 And I hate saying that because Arch isn’t shit either, but he was the only interesting thing about her。 She was so pathetic for him to like her it was so hard to watch。 At one point Arch calls her a “pick me,” but a few chapters later he says she’s not a “not like other girls girl。” That’s the same exact thing!? But also I hate that these terms were even used in this book it’s so cringe。 Another thing I hated was the mean ex gf trope。 I am so sick of this misogynistic trope being used to make the fmc look better。 So many romance books have this cliche Regina George-esque mean girl that is not only extremely exaggerated and unrealistic, but it’s ALWAYS used as a tool to demonize women other than the fmc。 Cadence’s character is a caricature of a mean girl, and does not at any point resemble a real human being。 But of course, we need Arch to have a horrible ex gf so that Daisy looks like the perfect lovely virgin angel。 Give me a break。 Lastly, this book has the WORST third act breakup of all time。 It literally made ZERO sense?!? Daisy’s father threatens her to break up with Arch, she does, and then Arch just accepts it??! He literally knew that Daisy’s father was causing problems with their relationship but for some reason he’s too dumb to realize she didn’t really wanna break up with him?? And then they just don’t talk for a month?? And when Arch finally confronts Daisy’s dad he doesn’t even put up any resistance and he’s like “sure you can date my daughter buddy。” This was hands down the worst written third act breakup I’ve ever read。 And I’ve read SO many stories that have this exact same storyline lmao。 It’s so cliche, overdone and unoriginal。 Extremely disappointed in this book。Random things I didn’t like: -Why does she eat a salad EVERY day for lunch??!- Parent disapproves of relationship trope ( so overdone)-blurting out that her mom died in chapter 1 when it was so unnecessary and weird timing - so many things happen off page -fmc reading spicy books cringe - no development of side characters 。。。more

welcome back to Lancaster PrepI wanted to love this book so much but I just couldn’t get into it 。As much as I love the Lancaster boys I think it might be time for Monica Murphy to move away from Lancaster prep。 This book felt very repetitive, I could not feel the chemistry between Daisy and Arch, it felt very bland and meh 🫤

Though Whitt and Summer will forever be my favorite, I enjoy coming back to Lancaster Prep to read about new Characters。 Daisy is perfect and I loved how Arch falls first。 It’s also nice to have a character that isn’t filthy rich like they all have been。 I’ll read anything Monica Murphy writes, she’s one of my favorite authors, but this series is actually worth a read!
